I am learning to be a better student. Refining my approach again and again without shame. But not without frustration and other unavoidable aspects of growth. My job is to try. To observe, evolve, adjust and try again. It is a messy and challenging thing to develop now the courage that will be required next. And the process is never the same twice. But I’m learning.
I am trying to be a better teacher. Paying closer and closer attention without judgement. But not without distraction, disappointment or all of the many reasons to be anxious, apprehensive… afraid. My job is to learn. And then apply every bit of knowledge gained toward teaching. It requires reserves of courage far deeper than what can be seen. It’s never the same twice. But I’m trying.
