When You Love

Are you ready to see?  Are you able to hear?

Do your feet touch the ground?  Does your heart feel what you fear?

Are you able to show that love now is your choice?

Do you heal with your hands; communicate with your voice?

There’s no good reason to wait.  It happens only as you believe

You give when you love.  And when you love, you receive.

Can you put down what is gone, without forgetting where you’ve been?

Can you let go of what will come, without waiting for it to begin?

Are you able to know what will come of your choice?

Do you feel with your soul or sing with your voice?

Connection is all we can take away from all who once breathed but do not today…

Who have received when you loved and loved when you’ve received;

who give when they love and when you love, believe.
